What is Copy Editing?
Copy editing is when I check your written material for grammar, spelling, style, and punctuation issues before it’s prepared for proofreading.
I may also do a rewrite or revision of sentences, if necessary, to fix any problems with transitions, wordiness, and jargon, and ensure the style of the piece fits with the publication. This is a more intensive pass of your manuscript and should ideally be undertaken before proofreading.
